Description:
This early example of Gruppe's was painted about 1925-30,
probably in Vermont. The young girl is painted in a soft
palette standing in a pool in the woods. It is a very soft and
soothing painting of wonderful quality. The colors are gray,
white and willow green. The frame is original to the painting.
Dimensions are for the painting and do not include the frame.
