Description:
Carl Nordell, born in Dennmark in 1885 and died in California
in 1957. He is a well listed artist with many museums holding
his work. He has an extensive auction record. He painted still
life and portraits, mostly in oils. He studied with Edmund
Tarbell, the famous Boston artist. This small painting in its
first frame is charming. It is signed in the upper left and
dated 03. The framed size is 19 1/4 wide by 12 tall.
