Here is an exceptional Crazy quilt made in Conn. in 1888.
Please note the various ribbons commemorating the 20th to the
24th re-Union of various units from a number of towns in Conn.
New Britian, New London, Guilford, Mereiden and New Haven are
but a few shown. Various Volunteer units are shown. The colors
are strong and there is no fading. Note the fantastic needle
work in the birds and flowers. It is great. There also appears
a number of symbols of the Odd Fellows. This quilt has been
exhibited.
